The Sleepy Church
Conversation with Gemini
Can you put my thoughts below into a children's book to teach meditation and falling asleep. The church inside of us I enter before falling asleep at night. I have learned how to use that special time every day. I bring my consciousness into the present moment. I see it as a realm of existence between being awake and peaceful falling into sleep. Meditation as a practice and realm of existence. As I enter being consciously aware of my breath and God without and within as I fall asleep.
Absolutely! Here's a children's book based on your thoughts:
The Sleepy Church
Little Luna loved bedtime. Not just because of the cozy blankets and funny pajamas, but because of the special place she found inside herself before drifting off to sleep. Luna called it her Sleepy Church.
"It's not a church made of bricks and bells," Luna would tell her friends. "It's a church built of quiet and peace, right here inside my heart."
Every night, as Luna snuggled under her covers, she'd take a deep breath and close her eyes. Whoosh! Just like that, she'd enter her Sleepy Church.
"It's a special in-between place," Luna explained. "Not quite awake, not quite asleep, but perfectly peaceful."
In her Sleepy Church, Luna would listen to her breath. It went in and out, whooshing softly like a gentle wind. With each breath, Luna felt a little calmer, a little lighter.
"It's like talking to a friend," Luna whispered. "My breath tells me it's time to rest."
Sometimes, Luna would even imagine a warm, golden light filling her Sleepy Church. It was like a hug from God, reminding her that she was loved and safe.
"God is everywhere, even in my dreams," Luna would smile. "And sometimes, He whispers goodnight kisses in the Sleepy Church."
The more time Luna spent in her Sleepy Church, the easier it was to fall asleep. Her worries and thoughts would slow down, just like the wind calming before bedtime.
"My Sleepy Church helps me drift away to dreamland," Luna sighed happily. "It's the best part of bedtime!"
So, the next time you find yourself snuggling under the covers, close your eyes and take a deep breath. Maybe you'll find your own Sleepy Church waiting for you, a place of peace and quiet, right before you drift off to dreamland. Sweet dreams!
